Tancrède Lepoint, Computer Scientist, SRI International Recent improvements in efficiency have firmly established lattice-based cryptography as one of the leading candidates to replace RSA and ECC after the eventual coming of quantum computing. We present CRYSTALS, a new Cryptographic Suite for Algebraic Lattices that exploits algebraic structure in lattices to provide easy-to-implement, low-memory, and efficient key agreement protocol and digital signature. We then present the Open Quantum Safe framework which aims at supporting the development and easy prototyping of quantum-resistant cryptography, and benchmark our implementations therein.
