Biography
Program Committee Member. Loren Shade has been involved in the embedded systems industry for over 25 years. He has worked with many industrial, military, and commercial customers to implement and adopt networking and security into their embedded products. A long-standing technology evangelist, Loren routinely gives presentations on various embedded technologies, networking, and security topics at industry events to customers, partners, and technology forums.
Loren has previously held various management and senior-level positions with Interpeak, Wind River Systems, Integrated Systems, and Battelle Memorial Institute. Loren holds degrees in Systems Analysis and Physics from Miami University, Industrial Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University, and is a Professional Fellow from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management.
As a veteran of the embedded systems industry, Loren has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous industrial, military, and commercial clients to implement networking and security into their products. His role as a technology evangelist is not just a title, but a reflection of his passion and commitment.
