Xin Qiu

Dr. Qiu is an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in PKI, PQC, and AI-driven security services. With a portfolio of 80+ patents, her groundbreaking work spans product security, software supply chain and manufacturing supply chain security.
As the Sr. Director of the CommScope PKI Center and Security Solutions, she leads a multi-disciplinary team with full P&L and functional responsibility across product strategy and marketing, R&D, security operations, partnership development, and customer support. Her technical expertise and strategic vision have driven impactful collaborations and large-scale PKI deployments with global manufacturers and network operators. Widely recognized as the architect behind CommScope’s world-class PKI, as well as its code signing and software asset management services, she has been instrumental in safeguarding billions of devices from cyberattacks by malicious actors.
Dr. Qiu was a key designer of the Emmy-award-winning MediaCipher Conditional Access System. She also authored the DFAST cryptographic algorithm, a cornerstone of the CableCard Copy Protection standard, which played a pivotal role in combating piracy in the cable industry.
Before joining CommScope, she served as a security architect, leading software and network security teams at startups. Her firsthand experience addressing real-world security challenges has given her deep insights into the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
