Biography
Rumman Mahmud has fifteen years of development and consultation experience in the area of FIPS 140-2 security validations. She joined Cisco in 2012 working on Access Switching and is currently serving as a Compliance Engineer in the Security and Trust Organization where she is responsible for FIPS 140-2 validation projects. She is a subject matter expert on entropy and also helps the team with CAVP algorithm testing. Ms. Mahmud has completed bachelors and masters in Computer Engineering from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA.
