David Sabourin

Prior to this position, Dave was the Acting Director of the Cryptographic Modernization Program. Dave joined the Communication Security Establishment in 2007 and has served in various leadership positions within the enterprise security architecture and the cryptographic security team.  In these roles, he lead teams that supported the GC in building a secure network architecture, as well as deploying the necessary cryptographic capability, including devices, algorithm and key management systems, ensuring Canada protects its most sensitive information, today and for our quantum safe future. Dave as well has had a 20 year career with the Canadian Forces, serving in various leadership positions with the Signals, Communication electronics, and operational supports fields. Dave holds a BEng from the Royal Military College of Canada and a MBA from the University of Ottawa.
