Biography

Richard Lamb (MIT ScD ’87) has 35+ years experience as engineer, entrepreneur, and policy expert. He was the technical and policy architect of the Internet’s root DNSSEC deployment at ICANN and regularly teaches and speaks on various ICT topics. Prior he was Director of Global IT policy at US State Department where he advised policy makers on technologies. A lifelong inventor, he has founded small networking start-ups (one acquired by Microsoft) and has a number of patents.
