Biography
As Director Security & Certifications Laurie and her team lead Gemalto/SafeNet product security certifications strategy and implementation, including FIPS and Common Criteria, among other security-related responsibilities. Laurie has over twenty years’ experience in information assurance and security certifications, including as the former CSE Head of the CMVP, former Director DOMUS ITSL and more recently, responsible for Public Safety Canada IT Security. Her experience with the CMVP has gone full circle, from government, to lab, to customer, and now to vendor giving her a broad and unique perspective.
