Biography
Elaine Newton recently joined Oracle as Senior Director for Standards Strategy and Policy, reporting to the Chief Standards Officer, Dr. Donald Deutsch. Previously, Elaine worked for more than 11 years for the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) where she was most recently the Standards Lead for Applied Cybersecurity.
Newton earned a BS from Georgia Tech and MS and PhD degrees from the Engineering and Public Policy Department at Carnegie Mellon University.
