Physical Testing (Beyond FIPS) (W01c)

Physical Testing requirements are defined in section 5 of FIPS 140-2. Additional guidance is provided by the implementation guidance. This Workshop will detail the physical testing requirements for each security level focusing mainly in the SL4.

Moreover, an outline of the physical testing requirements covered by the SOG-IS technical domain “Hardware Devices with Security Boxes” will be provided. These may be considered and extension of the current FIPS 140-2 requirements.

This will be presented by experience tester with hands-on experience in physical testing.
