Lattice Cryptography Exposed! (Q21a)

Lattices pose arguably the most important problems underlying PQC. These problems are believed to be hard or computationally infeasible, even for quantum computers. Yet it is often unclear what motivates such confidence—proofs, experiments, or cryptanalysis—or even how security parameters are determined. In this talk, the speaker will reveal secrets that have remained hidden in plain sight, discuss some of the history of lattice successes and failures, and what might work in the future.
