Experimenting with Post-Quantum Cryptography in TLS/SSH with the Open Quantum Safe Project (Q43d)

After giving an overview of the Open Quantum Safe (OQS) project, the presenter will describe recent post-quantum cryptography experiments in TLS/SSH using OQS, including:

1) benchmarks on the impact of network characteristics such as link latency, packet loss rate, and page size on PQC-based key exchange and authentication in TLS 1.3 [2],

2) an analysis on the feasibility of integrating the NIST round 2 candidates into TLS 1.2, TLS 1.3, and SSH [3]. [1] https://openquantumsafe.org/ [2] https://eprint.iacr.org/2019/1447 [3] https://openquantumsafe.org/papers/NISTPQC-CroPaqSte19.pdf
