Confidential Deep Packet Inspection of Network Traffic Using Homomorphic Encryption (H32b)

Deep packet inspection (DPI) of network traffic can prevent cyberattacks if threat data is shared rapidly, however, reluctance to share sensitive information has limited its use. Confidential DPI can run privately and securely on encrypted data, allowing threat intelligence to be automated. The speaker leverages fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) to enable confidential DPI to perform optimized multi-string matching on a text corpus.
