Cloud Infrastructure: Enabling the CMVP Automation Project (C20b)
In this session, the CMVP automation team from AWS, Mitre, and ITC Federal shares the cloud architecture and services enabling the CMVP automation project. The team discusses the history of the NIST NCCoE, infrastructure challenges, and the cloud research environment reference architectures built at NIST NCCoE to support the project. The AWS team explains the selected services, best practices, operational guidance, and implemented security guardrails. The talk also highlights how the CMVP application was rearchitected to be cloud-native, improving resiliency, operational efficiency, and security.
