About ICMC19

In 2018 ICMC grew to become the largest global event for commercial cryptography with 394 delegates from 25 countries, and 26 sponsors. ICMC19 will expand again. We’ll build on the tracks that have formed the foundation for the conference: Crypto Technology, Certification, Embedded Crypto, End-User Issues, and Common Criteria. We’ll expand three popular new tracks: OS Crypto, Quantum-Ready Crypto and Embedded Crypto. And we’ll add two new tracks: Random Bit Generators, and Startup Showcase. Leveraging our new location on the Pacific Rim we’ll examine the growing emphasis on cryptographic certification by schemes in China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and others. We’ll showcase a range of West Coast startup firms that employ cryptography as a foundational technology. We’ll survey contributions by companies and organizations in Australia and Southeast Asia to the open source cryptographic protocols that power the Internet. And we’ll dive deep into the cutting-edge post-quantum crypto work that is taking place throughout Asia. Projected attendance is 500.
