Joshua Brickman is a security certification and compliance leader with over two decades of experience spanning Common Criteria, FIPS 140, and global regulatory frameworks. He has led large-scale certification programs and advised organizations on navigating complex requirements across U.S. and international schemes, including FedRAMP and emerging European regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), where he has engaged with industry and policy stakeholders on implementation challenges and global alignment.
Joshua is a recognized industry contributor, serving as chair and primary author of the Common Criteria in the Cloud guidance and participating in multiple international technical communities shaping the future of security evaluations. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at global conferences, where he focuses on the intersection of security, compliance, and real-world implementation challenges.
He currently advises organizations on certification strategy, regulatory alignment, and navigating evolving global cybersecurity requirements.
