Enabling Crypto-Agility: Lightweight Hybrid Post-Quantum Architectures for Constrained Devices (Q23a)
As post-quantum cryptography advances, hybrid schemes combining classical and quantum-resistant algorithms offer a secure migration path. Implementing these in constrained IoT and embedded systems presents challenges in performance, entropy, and certification. This idea proposes a lightweight hybrid PQC architecture optimizing security, efficiency, and side-channel resistance. It also explores adaptive validation under FIPS 140-3, enabling cryptographic modules that are both post-quantum resilient and practical within real-world resource limitations.
