Biography

Mr. Troy Lange is the Chief of the Encryption Production and Solutions Group within the Cybersecurity Directorate at the National Security Agency (NSA), where he is responsible for protecting the nation’s most critical secrets from our most capable adversaries through the design, development, and production of keys, codes, and cryptographic devices. Mr. Lange has worked at NSA since 1990. He started as a Cooperative Education Student, with assignments ranging from Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks research, to managing an ion implanter at the Microelectronics Research Laboratory. During the course of his career, Mr. Lange has worked a variety of engineering and leadership positions including the Deputy Chief of High Performance Computing Solutions, the Chief of the Systems and Technologies Analysis Group, the Mobility Mission Manager, and a Senior Budget Analyst at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence for a Joint Duty assignment. He has experience in Cryptographic Products Engineering, Microelectronics, Data Acquisition, Facilities, Information Technology, and Research. Mr. Lange received his Bachelor of Science – Electrical Engineering degree in 1992, from the University of Akron and his Master of Science – Electrical Engineering in 1995, from Johns Hopkins University.
