Steven Bowles

Steven Bowles, Chief Security Officer, guides the secure design, development, and certification of Futurex’s world-leading cryptographic solutions. Steven contributes to the standards community as a Board Member with ANSI’s X9 Standards Committee on Financial Standards and serves as Vice-Chair of their subcommittee on Data & Information Security. Prior to joining Futurex, Steven most notably held roles as the Manager of Device Standards and Director of Certification Programs with the PCI Security Standards Council and was a contributing author of the PCI’s DSS, PA-DSS and PTS standards.  Steven is also a retired Captain, having served 9 years as a Communications & Electronics Engineer in the Canadian Armed Forces.
