Panel: Looking beyond 1SUBs (C31b)
Companies with large portfolio of products like VMware benefit enormously from the rebranding and 1SUB processes allowed by NIST for OSS cryptographic libraries. However, as businesses move increasingly towards the cloud, these businesses struggle with keeping to FIPS compliance for frequent service and product releases. This discussion aims to pass a few ideas for companies to make it simpler to claim FIPS and consequently FedRAMP compliance, yet maintain FIPS integrity.
