IoT and the NISTIR 8200: A Step Towards Standardization (E12a)
The NISTIR 8200 report addresses the growing need to develop effective security standards for the Internet of Things (IoT). They have identified a wide range of critical categories impacted by the introduction of IoT—from medical, to manufacturing, to vehicles, and even in the home. This presentation will provide a high-level review of the NISTIR 8200 reviewing the standards gaps identified in the report and discuss potential approaches to addressing those gaps.
