Building multi-layer protection and staying agile to adapt to changes in the security landscape are essential strategic goals. However, translating these goals into concrete actions presents challenges for both public and private sectors. This talk addresses the technical and procedural challenges of securing use cases with no universal solution, emphasizing the importance of tailoring techniques to specific needs.
From the perspective of a hardware security module (HSM) manufacturer, the talk offers novel ideas and best practices for the secure migration of complex infrastructures to quantum-resistant cryptography. It highlights the opportunity to introduce crypto-agility as a foundation for future-proof resilience and discusses strategies for improving infrastructure resistance, resilience, and return on investment.
