Building Certification Bodies (C30b)
Predictable, efficient, effective evaluations are the result of an interplay between developers, evaluators and certifiers. Over the years there has been much said about how developers and evaluators should improve in this interplay, and much grumbling over what certifiers are causing. Not all of this is true, from the presenter’s inside experience in growing and building certification bodies: there definitely is another way.
This session is about how certification bodies are built, what choices can be made to improve the overall process, and what it takes to enact these choices. This presentation is useful for certifiers seeking to improve their organization, and others seeking to support certification bodies in their efficiency.
