China and Crypto Open Source Projects (S23b)

This presentation will provide an overview of China’s participation in global open source activities, with a specific focus on crypto development. This presentation will be of particular interest to those who would like to know how this process works in China. We’ll review previous efforts, take a look at initiatives that are under way, and discuss plans for the future. The Chinese open source community has worked to develop a better understanding of western society–this presentation will provide a reciprocal understanding of Chinese society and help create dialogue that will foster greater success in future open source efforts.

The speaker is the architect of BaishanCloud and is the most active contributor to OpenSSL project in China.
