Challenges of Integrating Hybrid Post-Quantum Cryptography in NextG Networks (Q21b)
NextG network systems (5/6G cellular, Next Wi-Fi, satellite networks) are expected to connect billions of hyperscale heterogenous Internet of Things (IoT). NextG networks are supposed to offer resistant against quantum computers attacks. However, deploying quantum-resistant cryptographic solution into NextG networks is challenging. In this talk, the challenges of deploying hybrid quantum-resistant cryptography into IoT devices and investigate the impact on the network operations, parameters, and properties that NextG networks are supposed to hold.
