This Spring in Washington: Survey a Future Made More Secure by Advanced Encryption Technologies
The International Cryptographic Module Conference is a growing forum for global expertise in commercial cryptography. At the fifth annual edition of the conference, May 16-19, industry leaders from over 20 countries will convene in Washington, DC, to address the unique challenges faced by those who produce, test, specify and use cryptographic modules, with a strong focus on standards such as FIPS 140-2, ISO/IEC 19790, and Common Criteria. ICMC covers technical design issues with a particular emphasis on the challenges posed as technology advances with respect to the current standards.

The conference is designed to foster a focused, organized community of users. In over 75 peer-reviewed conference presentations, we'll review technical topics underlying the implementation of a cryptographic module including physical security, key management, side-channel analysis, cryptographic algorithm implementation testing, standardization (FIPS 140-2, ISO/IEC 19790), validation programs, lifecycle management, and more.

Special-focus conference tracks cover issues related to open source cryptography, the quantum computing threat, embedded cryptography in specific industry verticals, NIAP-compliant products and common criteria, and balancing privacy with government access to encrypted information.
