Michael Powers, Security Assurance Engineer, AT&E Labs, Commercial Cybersecurity Division, Leidos. The SP800-56A publication defines fourteen unique schemes for performing Diffie-Hellman and EC Diffie-Hellman key agreement. This talk aims to clarify which of these schemes are already used in industry-standard protocols (like TLS, SSH and IPsec), and to provide straightforward methods for identifying the schemes and options supported by a cryptographic module.
